This felted scarf is made of soft merino wool darck blue , light coral and gray blend is 80% merino wool and 20% tussah silk through a wet nuno felting process. Scarf is decorated a blend of Silvery Alpaca 70% and Silk 30% and silk mulberry. The scarf is made in shibori felted technique with which produces very interesting embossed texture.
It is a luxury blend! Alpaca is a shiny and silky natural fiber. While similar to sheep’s wool, it is warmer, not prickly, and bears no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic. It is also soft and luxurious. Alpaca fiber is somewhat akin to hair, being very glossy.
